I’d like to let the handmade paper on canvas tell the story, but I must admit that those words in his 2016 essay for “Parts Unknown” is ultimately the premise of this piece. An attempt at capturing, through my consciousness, the “motherfuckin’ city” of Chicago. The second piece of my pride month series: PIECES OF HOME.
